Delivery Truck Driver – Class C
DiMare Fresh is looking for Class C licensed drivers to deliver in DFW and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver’s license
- At least 1 years’ experience driving a straight truck (Box truck)
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have good driving record
- Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background checks
- Must be available to work Monday thru Saturday, some Sundays
- Must be able to meet physical requirements for handling product including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder height or above
- Must be able to read and write English well enough to communicate with employees, customers and maintain written records
- Must be honest and dependable
- Must be able to deal with customers in a positive, courteous, and respectful manner
- Knowledge of the DFW area helpful
- Must demonstrate sound work ethics
- Reefer or Produce experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Meet delivery schedules
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, all accidents and/or violations
- Other related duties as assigned
